Stacy L. Janak

Stacy graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in August of 2001 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. The title of her thesis is, "Scheduling of Multiproduct and Multipurpose Batch Plants: Modeling and Algorithmic Developments." Stacy's research currently focuses on the development of new approaches to model and efficiently solve short-term and medium-term scheduling problems as well as to take into account complicating issues such as scheduling under uncertainty. Stacy has accepted a full-time position with Aspen Technology is Houston, Texas and will begin work in September of 2006.
