Marianthi Ierapetritou
Marianthi received her Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 1991. She then went to Imperial College, London, where she received her PhD in 1995. After spending a year doing post-doctoral research work in the area of process systems engineering at the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Imperial College, Marianthi joined CASL in 1996 as a research associate. Her research interests are in the areas of process systems engineering and the current focus is on issues related to uncertainty in process systems, short-term scheduling, facility location, global optimization and computational chemistry.
