Peter DiMaggio
In May of 2004, Pete graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, where he worked on the development of novel optimization algorithms and their application to thermodynamic systems under Dr. Angelo Lucia. His thesis project is centered upon the formulation and implementation of de novo sequencing algorithms via mixed-integer optimization for the identification peptides and proteins in a high-throughput computational framework.
