Munawar Shaik Abdul
Munawar obtained his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani (Rajasthan, India) in 1997. After his undergraduate work, Munawar spent one year in a petrochemical plant of Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) and then obtained his Masters in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani in 2000, during which he also worked as a teaching assistant and taught some undergraduate courses. He submitted his Ph.D. thesis in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay (India) in November of 2004. Munawar joined the CASL in February of 2005 and is working on robustness in planning and scheduling under uncertainty. |
