Graca Goncalves

Graca received her BS in Mathematics-Operational Research from the Department of Mathematics at Coimbra University in Coimbra, Portugal in 1992. After that, she completed her MSc in Applied Mathematics to the Economy and Management Science at the Technical University of Lisbon in Lisbon, Portugal in 1997. She is currently pursing her PhD in the area of water distribution network design. At CASL, Graca is applying global optimization methods to solve the problem of water distribution network design.
