Ashwin Subramani
Ashwin graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in
2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. His thesis is
titled: "Protein folding: Structure and Prediction". His current focus is
on the one dimensional prediction of alpha-helical segments using the
primary sequence and local force fields. Specifically, optimization
techniques based on local energy models are developed which can be
implemented into the larger framework of tertiary structure prediction for
proteins.
